Perugia is a little town in the center of Italy. Perugia is filled with many historic buildings and modern shops. Perugia has many Etruscans. Etruscans are civil arts in Italy. Perugia sounds like a fun place!
Perugia is located in the middle of Italy. Perugia is the capitol city of the region Umbria. Perugia is also near the Tiber River. Perugia has many griffins. Perugia is slightly smaller than a lot of other cities in Italy.
Perugia has many famous buildings and paintings. Some famous places are: Piazza IV Noviembre; Fontana Maggione; Palazze dei Priori; Corszo Vannucci; Rocca Paolina. Link Perugia has 25 hotels. Perugia also has 2 universities: the University of Perugia and Foreigners University.
Perugia has a chocolate festival every year. The Chocolate Festival is held in October. The chocolate festival started in 1993. The chocolate Festival also has music, arts, plays, and all different kinds of fun stuff. The festival also has different themes for each year. Some themes have been City of Chocolate; Chokolate Revolution and Chocolage. Italians LOVE chocolate!
One thing that Perugia is famous for is the murder of Meredith Kercher. Meredith was a girl from London who went to Perugia to finish her degree. She had 2 roommates, Amanda Knox and I don’t know the other one. Amanda Knox is a girl from Seattle, Washington and went to Italy to study foreign languages. Amanda and 2 other people were accused of killing Meredith. I personally think Amanda is innocent!
Perugia sounds like a fun place to visit. If you go to Perugia, you will want to visit some of the places I listed. If I go to Perugia, I will want to go during October to see the Chocolate Festival! Have fun in Perugia!!
